MALAYSIA: Malaysia has neutralized yet another football player today, making it the second time the country had done so since the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) agreed to such move in 2018.
The latest player to be neutralized is attacking midfielder Liridon Krasniqi from Kosovo.
According to FAM’s statement, the 28 year old is one step away to don the proud colours of the national football team as he is now just waiting for FIFA’s approval for him to be considered a neutralized Malaysian football player.
FAM added that they will be submitting the final documents to get Liridon the green light to play for the Harimau Malaya team.
Liridon has been very successful in Malaysia as a footballer since he arrived to play for Kedah FA in 2015 and he is currently playing his trade with Liga Super champions, Johor Darul Ta’zim.
